International Girl Child Day

Our school organized a programme on Internationl Girl Child Day. There were a string of activities such as Speech, slogans, Dance etc .The main objective of the programme was to create awareness among the people about the importance of girl child. Discourage them against female foeticide, a cancer for the society. There was huge enthusiasm among the teachers and the students for the programmes.

First of all Ms. Preeti highlighted the achievements of the daughters of the country from various fields and urged to discourage the society against female foeticide. She mentioned the names of some female achievers in all the fields such as Rani Laxmi Bai, Sunita Williams, Kalpana Chawla, Sakshi Malik, PT Usha, Indira Gandhi etc. Their speeches instilled the girl-students with proud and courage. Students took out a rally holding banners and posters carrying messages like – Beti Bachao – Beti Padhao, Save  Girl Child – Educate Girl Child, Girls are the pride of the country, If Girls survive, the earth will survive and so on.

Students of class Vth presented a very beautiful dance on ‘O ri chiraiya’ song which melted everyone’s heart present there.
