Van Mahotsav - 2020

The ‘Tree festival’ popularly known as ‘Van Mahotsav’ is celebrated in the first week of July every year.

In order to sensitize students towards the need to preserve environment and ecology a virtual tree plantation session was organized by the school in which students as well as the teachers took part enthusiastically.

Various activities such as poster making, poem recitation, slogan writing, and write ups on the Importance of the plantation were held in all the classes before hand. Teachers demonstrated How to plant saplings. Students gleefully planted trees in pots and also in their courtyards. All the students participated in the tree plantations mission with great zeal. One of the teachers also demonstrated Seed ball making activity, for growing plants in remote areas.

They shared their posters, photos, and videos in their respective class WhatsApp groups.

Students were made aware of the importance of tree plantation. The sessions were lively and informative.
